ALBANY, Ga. — Marcus Jermaine Price pleaded guilty Friday to gun possession in connection with the murder of Melvin Jerome Green by Timothy Bell, said a court officer. Judge Willie Lockette sentenced Price to five years, he added.
“Price handed the gun to Bell,” said Greg Edwards, district attorney. “Price will spend the next five years in prison.”
Bell was sentenced to 20 years in prison Nov. 5 for killing Green on West Gordon Avenue on Oct. 27. He must serve the entire 20 years.
