I want to thank the faculty, staff and students at Lee County Middle School for a very outstanding program given to us veterans Friday, Nov. 9.
Actually, this is the first time I have attended such a function. I must say how much I was impressed with the upbeat and “please come” feeling I received when talking to Ms. Carter and others.
All of you at LCMS should be mighty proud of yourselves, the band, glee club and especially the Honor Guard handling colors. All 4.0! As I mentioned to several groups of students while there, “These days are the best you’ll have; learn as much as you can!”
Thank all of you very much and, God willing, I sure will be there in 2013! God bless America.
