ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 73 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Assaults on the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and the first block of Morningside Drive;
— Hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident on the 3600 block of Club Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Robinson Avenue and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Vandalism on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive;
— Driving on suspended licenses on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 400 block of Johnson Road;
— Cruelty to animals on the 300 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 300 block of Independence Drive;
— Entering autos on the 100 block of North Magnolia Street and the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Driving under the influence on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Battery on the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue and the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1500 block of Edgerly Avenue;
— Burglaries in the first degree on the 1100 block of West Highland Avenue and the 600 block of West Second Avenue;
— Motor vehicle thefts on the 2500 block of Schley Avenue and the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Simple battery on the 1100 block of Wingate Avenue and the 2600 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of South Harding Street and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Forgery in the first degree on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way and the 2700 block of Gillionville Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 600 block of North Washington Street and the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue;
— Aggravated assault on the 900 block of North Van Buren Street;
— Wanted person on the 100 block of Force Drive;
— Larceny on the 1800 block of Sycamore Court;
— Burglary in the second degree on the 300 block of West Third Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 26 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Traffic arrests on the 2900 block of Radium Springs Road and the 200 block of Vick Street;
— Burglary of a business on the 1500 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Theft on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 49 calls from Thursday morning through Sunday evening, available reports show. Incidents included a grass fire, gas odor reports, a storage shed fire, controlled burns, car fires, EMS assistance, a trash fire and vehicle crashes.
