ALBANY -- Mrs. Dorothy Bowles McConnell, died Friday, November 9, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Her memorial service was held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Chris Hill officiated.
A native of Shelbyville, KY, Mrs. McConnell had lived in Albany for a number of years. She was a member of Albany Christian Church and worked as a bookkeeper at MCLB.
Mrs. McConnell was preceded in death by a son Michael Scott McConnell.
Survivors include her husband E. Lyle McConnell, Albany, daughter Cathy McConnell Myler and husband Billy, Decatur, AL; son, Stephen Thomas McConnell, Albany; grandchildren, Erin Madolyn Myler, Emily Michelle Myler and Austin Michael McConnell.
