ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 42 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Pedestrian under the influence, a woman stumbling in the street on the 2100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Rape reported, location redacted;
— Battery on the 800 block of West First Avenue and the 500 block of South Magnolia Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 2300 block of Brierwood Drive, the 900 block of West Broad Avenue, the 600 block of North Davis Street and the 2300 block of Bluewater Drive;
— Financial card thefts on the 1900 block of South Madison Street and the 1200 block of Van Deman Street;
— Burglaries on the 700 block of Corn Avenue and the 2600 block of South Washington Street;
— Forgery on the 1200 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Entering autos on the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 400 block South Madison Street and the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Reckless conduct on the 500 block of Pine Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Shelby Lane;
— Assault, vandalism (domestic), on the 2100 block of Clark Avenue;
— Domestic call on the 500 block of Gordon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 13 calls Thursday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Family violence (verbal) on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road and on the 2500 block of Imperial Street;
— Theft of less than $200 on the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue;
— Burglary on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to four incidents Thursday, including a controlled burn, a gas odor, an electric transformer problem and an electrical short.
