ALBANY -- Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald Taylor, 103 of Albany died November 18, 2012 at Palmyra Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor and Rev. William Collins officiating.
A native of Leslie, GA, Mrs. Taylor has lived in Leesburg since 1968. She was a charter member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church and very active with SOWEGA Council on Aging in Albany, where she received the 2008 Senior of The Year Award.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her first husband of 45 years, Mr. Harvey Fitzgerald and her second husband Mr. Virgil Taylor.
Survivors include her children, Joanne Gauntt of Albany, Joyce Callahan of Leesburg, Juanita Benson of Leesburg and Buddy Fitzgerald and his wife Carol of Leesburg, grandchildren, Lon McNeil, Jodie Gooch and her husband Theo, Tommy Gregors and his wife Sandy, Joe Gregors and his wife Tammy, Keith Dorminy and his wife Carroll, Kim Key and her husband Dan, B. J. Benson, Ashley Jones and her husband John, Stacy Wall and her husband Brad, Abby Hooper and her husband Cameron and Paul Fitzgerald, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
