BUFORD, Ga. — "American Idol" champion Phillip Phillips of Leesburg will make an appearance in Buford Wednesday evening to promote his debut album, "The World from the Side of the Moon."
Phillips is scheduled to be at the Mall of Georgia 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Village Amphitheater. He will sing songs from the album for the first 30 minutes, then sign copies of his CD 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Fans who buy or bring a copy of the CD will receive a wrist band for the autograph line, Mall of Georgia officials say.
There is no admission charge.
