ALBANY, Ga. — A Dougherty County Grand jury last week indicted five men on 22 counts involving the shooting death in August of an alleged Albany gang leader.
Danny Wilkerson Jr., 26, was indicted for felony murder and aggravated assault in the gang-related shooting death of 26-year-old Dontravious Luke, an alleged "Bloods" gang leader in the Shackleford Shopping Center.
Prosecutors say Wilkerson also shot and wounded Luke's brother Montravious, 28.
Also indicted in connection with the incident were Kelvin Drake, 24; Manasseh Skinner, 27; Keith Roberson, 30, and Albert Whitfield, 24.
Wilkerson is currently being held at the Dougherty County jail.
