CAMILLA -- Marcus Anthony Conger, 73, of Newton, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his residence.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with Rev. James Sanders officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will include the employees of Flint Equipment Company.
Born January 15, 1939 in Waycross, Mr. Conger was the son of the late Marcus Simpson and Thelma Wilcox Conger. He was a member of Newton Baptist Church. Mr. Conger was a retired mechanic, having worked for Flint Equipment Company over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Conger of Newton; two daughters, Alysia Conger Underwood & husband, Ronald "Chip", of Americus and Christy Conger McLeod & husband, Tim, of Newton; one son, Anthony Bruce "Andy"
Conger of Dahlonega; two brothers, Robert Conger of Baconton and Thomas Conger of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Taylor Underwood, Jolie McLeod, and Christian McLeod.
Visitation will be from 2 - 3 p.m., Tuesday, one hour prior to services, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.
