ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 75 incidents from Friday night through the early hours of Monday.
Some of the incidents were:
— Theft by taking at the Albany Humane Society;
— A burglary at Sherwood Baptist Church where a golf cart was stolen;
— Three burglaries on Mobile, Holloway and Gillespie avenues;
— An aggravated assault on Vick Street;
— An armed robbery on Lucille Street;
— Forgery on West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— An aggravated assault on Tift Avenue, where a shot was fired through a window at a residence.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to more than 40 incidents from Nov. 17 to Nov. 19.
The Incidents included:
— A small apartment fire caused by a malfunctioning dishwasher at Nottingham Apartments;
— Several trash fires;
— A structure fire on North McKinley Street;
— Several unauthorized burns;
— An arcing power pole at Beattie and Wexford roads;
— Several false alarms
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Services responded to 60 calls on Sunday.
Calls included 46 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and one request for assistance from the Albany Fire Department.
Medical calls included:
— Seven chest pain calls;
— Four respiratory calls;
— Three miscellaneous pain calls;
— Two altered mental status calls;
— Twenty-three various medical calls.
Trauma calls included:
— Five auto accident victims;
— Five falls.
