King's Kids to present holiday musical

ALBANY, Ga. — King's Kids Production Company, a drama troupe that is part of Sherwood Christian Academy's Fine Arts Program, will perform "Yes, Virginia" this weekend.

This musical is aimed at children in grades 3-6. It is a story of convincing young Virginia that there is a Santa Claus.

Vicki Knuckles, the director of King's Kids, applied for the grant from Macy's and SCA was one of 100 schools to receive the money to put on this Christmas production.

Jackie Byrd also helps to direct 25 students from SCA and surrounding schools.

The performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Sherwood Christian Academy Secondary School, 1418 Old Pretoria Road. Contact (229) 888-2277.
