ALBANY — Darton State College’s Continuing Education Department will host a Professional Women’s Forum from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Darton Student Center in room 266.
The featured speaker is Dr. Melinda Greenfield.
Greenfield is a board certified dermatologist at the Albany Dermatology Clinic and has lived in Albany since 2001.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland and received a degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She is a clinical assistant professor at the Georgia Campus – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia.
Currently, she is the president of the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Society and is on the executive board for the Dougherty County Medical Society.
Twice a year the Darton State College Department of Continuing Education and Economic Development hosts the Professional Women’s Forum.
It is designed for women of Southwest Georgia to meet and network, learn about educational opportunities, development strategies for success and to inspire one another to achieve great things.
A distinguished guest speaker highlights each forum.
The $25 fee includes lunch, and reservations are required.
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch noon-1 p.m.
