ALBANY -- Mrs. Lois Barfield Witczak, 82, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital
Her funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment in Andersonville National Cemetery on Tuesday. Mr. James Fallin and Mr. Ross Powell will be officiating. The family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
A native of Lee County, Mrs. Witczak was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was very active with the Women of the Moose, the VFW Auxiliary and the SOWEGA Council on Aging. Mrs. Witzcak loved her family, singing Happy Birthday to people, and playing bingo and cards.
Survivors include her husband Alger Witczak, Leesburg; daughter, Pamela Marie Fallin and husband James, Sasser; son, Jerry Lee Witczak and wife Karen, Columbus; grandchildren, Jonathan Fallin and wife Marla, Jacob Fallin and wife Lauren, Joshua Fallin, Christopher Witczak, Jennifer Witczak; great grandchildren, Noah Fallin and Lakelyn Fallin.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care that was given to Mrs. Witczak.
