Obama does better on a talk show like the View or Oprah where they are fawning over him and telling him in body language how great he is. When he is called on the Red Carpet, he wilts like a hot house lily in the sun. But this was funny. BTW, where is Oprah this year. Have not heard a peep out of her.

Joe Biden is attending special education class up in Deleware to prepare for his debate with Ryan. I am really looking forward to this debate. Coach, don't take your money to the bank. Jimmy Carter was thinking that way too when Ronald Reagan won. Put folks to work immediately, so if you are unemployed maybe you need to re-think your actions. Even this newspaper is a good example of ficticious figures. It had a bi layoff announcement. If you sit around thinking you have the election in the bag, guess again if you are believing the media. Remember those damn lies. Another thought, come after the election the MCSS will be laying off big time. Of course you have to give the folks 60 days notice, so get ready for that pink slip. Thousands will be laid off, so I hope you have those acorns laid aside.

The biggest number missed is the number of people who have just plain given up looking for work so they aren't counted in the unemployment percentage. That number exceeded all others. We (ObjectiveEyes and I) did the math for everybody last week. You must have missed it. How can you have BETTER unemployment figures when you add 114,000 jobs during the same time you had 350,000+ NEW unemployment applications in one week? Figures don't lie but Liars figure.

Valid point, but, the Bureau of Labor Statistics is the organization that puts out the official unemployment statistics and that is what we, and everyone else who follows the unemployment figures uses for unemployment stats.
Remember that the quote is "there are lies, damn lies and then there are statistics." Numbers can often be manipulated any way you choose.

The drop has alot to do with people running out their benifits also, even the bias liberal media has admitted that. It has been reported that when people run out of unemployment beneits their moved to other free bee catagories which don't show under unemployment #'s.

True unemployment is way higher than the stated numbers. For it has to include all those on the dole. Whether it be for food, housing, utilities or Medical treatment. For these people, if employed, are truely under employed. Not able to fend for themselves in this economy. True employment means everyone works and no one except the retired and handicapped gets any assistance.
