ALBANY — The Albany State volleyball team improved to 13-0 in conference play with an easy, 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-19) victory against Clark Atlanta on Tuesday.
Clark Atlanta had previously been undefeated in the conference, but the visiting Lady Panthers were shut down by the Lady Rams, who have won 39-of-40 sets against conference opponents this season.
Sharme Ridley (12), Jillian Anderson (10) and Ashley Johnson (10) all recorded double-digit kills for the Lady Rams, and Jennifer Johnson had a game-high 36 assists. Adrienne Morris led with 17 digs.
The Lady Rams, who are 16-9 overall, are on the road Thursday against Miles, which is 1-20 overall and 1-8 in the conference.
