CAMILLA -- Jeanne Cooper Pollock Adams, 69, of Camilla, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 12 at Union Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate.
Pallbearers will include Russell Brown, Sonny Tucker, Scott Tucker, Dan Carter, Jason Rooks.
Born May 4, 1943 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late B. J. and Jewel Faircloth Cooper. She was a homemaker and worked for MCS Systems and American General Insurance Co. Mrs. Adams was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Douglas Pollock; a son, Douglas Gene Pollock; four brothers, DeLoyd, Collis, Dick, and Byron; and six sisters, Flora Bell, Jewel, Virginia, Louise, Mildred, and Doris.
Survivors include her husband, James Orr Adams of Camilla; two daughters, Dana Pollock of Camilla and Jana Pollock of Camilla; one son, Mark Pollock and wife, Renee, of Camilla; four step-children, Cindy Wicks & husband, David, Anna Doosenberry & husband, Jeff, Faith Jordan & husband, Michael, Jimmy Adams, Jr.; one brother, Franklin Bo Cooper of Camilla; one sister, Margaret Bedsole of Havana, FL; five grandchildren, Shannon Woodrum & husband, Chris, J. D. Pollock & wife, Tiffany, Heather Rhae Pollock, Hunter Pollock, and Brady Pollock; seven step-grandchildren; and two great grandchildren, Shelbie Bible and Malakai Morey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, October 11 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Pelham.
