ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 35 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Aggravated assault, Jimmy Arnold, 52, was hit by the blunt end of a machete on the 1400 block of West Lincoln Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Steve Johnson, age 55, is charged with the crime;

-- Injured infant on the 1700 block of Malone Drive;

-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 2100 block of Oxford Road;

-- Burglary on the 2800 block of Stonewater Drive, the 1600 Sunny Lane, the 600 block of 10th Avenue, the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard and and the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;

-- Theft by taking on the 400 block of West Society Avenue, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 900 block of Lippitt Drive;

-- Robbery, a firearm stolen on the 1200 block of East Residence Avenue;

-- Possession of a firearm, a .38-caliber pistol, by a felon on the 400 block of Cotton Avenue;

-- Entering auto on the 2300 block of Evergreen Drive;

-- Deceased person on the 2400 block of Brierwood Avenue;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 800 block of Cameo Lane, the 1000 block of Holland Drive, the 400 block of West Society Avenue and the 1300 block of West Whitney Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE:Dougherty County police responded to at least 15 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- Vehicle crash on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway, the 2300 block of Sanborn Avenue and on Lovers Lane Road at North Jefferson Street;

-- Domestic on the 3000 block of War Eagle Avenue;

-- Hospitalization of ill man on the 2100 block of Nelms Road;

-- Wanted person on the 1400 block of South Mock Road.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS:The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 56 calls on Tuesday.

There were 36 medical calls, one trauma call and a Albany Fire Department assist call. Medical Calls and trauma calls included but were not limited to:

-- Four respiratory calls, three chest pains, three mental health calls, three seizures calls, 18 various medical calls, 12 vehicle crash victims, four falls and three lacerations.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 13 incidents.

-- Two unattended cooking, two false alarms, two unauthorized burns, two cardiac arrest, structure fire, two EMS assist, smoke scare and a two vehicle wreck.
