ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 67 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
-- Fraud on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Battery on the 500 block of Park Lane and the 500 block of Holloway Avenue;
-- Missing juvenile on the 1000 block of Forest Glen Drive;
-- Thefts by taking on the 1500 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 900 block of Willowwood Drive;
-- Injured persons on the 400 block of South McKinley Street and the 200 block of Pine Avenue;
-- Thefts by shoplifting on the 1900 block of South Madison Street and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
-- Theft by conversion on the 500 block of Pinson Road;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Crawford Drive and the 600 block of Sands Drive;
-- Criminal trespasses on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road and the 600 block of North Monroe Street;
-- Willfully obstructing law enforcement on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;
-- Animal at large on the 3100 block of Berkshire Court;
-- Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 2600 block of Dawson Heights Drive and the 600 block of 10th Avenue;
-- Entering autos on the 1600 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Recovered property on the 2200 block of Stuart Avenue;
-- Open container in a vehicle in the 100 block of North Cleveland Street;
-- Domestic dispute on the 1400 block of Eighth Avenue;
-- Burglaries in the first degree on the 500 block of Jefferies Avenue and the 1200 block of West Fourth Avenue;
-- Vandalism on the 1300 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 2400 block of Hemlock Drive;
-- Assault on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Motor vehicle thefts on the 900 block of Rood Street and the 1200 block of Firestone Drive;
-- Missing persons on the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane and the 1200 block of Eighth Avenue;
-- Forgery in the second degree on the 200 block of Tremont Avenue;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. Incidents included:
-- Traffic arrests on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and the 700 block of South Westover Boulevard;
-- Driving under the influence on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Theft (under $500) on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
-- Damaged property on the 3100 block of Plains Drive;
-- Burglary on the 6000 block of Elliot Drive;
-- Vehicle obstructing roadway on the 600 block of Byron Plantation Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 23 calls from Friday through the early hours of Monday, available reports show. Incidents included overheated bottles on a stove top, vehicle wrecks, a grass/brush fire, a trash can on fire, limb down on service lines, a Dumpster fire and EMS assistance.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 60 calls on Sunday, available reports show. The 44 medical and 16 trauma calls included, but were not limited to, seven respiratory calls, six chest pain calls, two faint calls, two diabetic issue calls and 22 various medical calls. Trauma calls included, but were not limited to, five auto accident victims, three assaults and two falls.
