ALBANY, Ga. -- The Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany, East Albany Unit (1112 Inverness Road) will hold its annual "Lights on Afterschool" event on Thursday from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. Local community partners and members of the Dougherty County School System will be in attendance.
The program will be highlighted by the South Georgia Project, which will assist club members on farming education, healthy eating, entrepreneurship, and help with starting and maintaining a garden. The club is also planning a fall festival in conjunction with Girls Inc.
