ALBANY, Ga.: Superintendent Joshua Murfree has called an October 29 meeting to name a permanent replacement principal at Albany High School.
The system is under a strict timeline set by the Georgia Department of Education to hire a principal no later than October 29 or risk losing additional funding.

As usual he is pushing his luck. Of course what does he care now that the DCSS board does not want to renew his contract??? The board members need to take the bull by the horns and start making sure duties are being done right and in a timely manner.

I SAW THE NEWS A FEW MINUTES AGO AND MURFREE RECOMMENDED THAT ALL OF "THESE FINE TEACHERS" BE RETURNED TO THE CLASS ROOM. I GUESS WE CAN EXPECT A LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN TO TRY AND HELP HIM GET HIS CONTRACT RENEWED. THERE NEEDS TO BE A CAMPAIGN TO MAKE SURE THIS BLUNDERING IDIOT IS SHOWN THE DOOR. DCSB: PRESS FORWARD AND GET A QUALIFIED SUPER. FLUSH THIS TURD.

The right person for the job is the person who has been doing the job for almost a year now.

Murfree needs to do the honorable thing at this point and take a hike up North 300.

Right. Holy cow this is getting to be a habit. Murfree will retain his job if the Bishop Heard wins the write in. Then the State will come in and essentially declare Albany a bunch of idiots. Never mind the phony degrees, can your candidate read a Dick and Jane book and then tell us what the book was about?

It should be easy to find someone under qualified enough by the 29th.
