Resisting arrest leads to jail for man
In police parlance, an “unwanted guest” refused to leave an apartment on the 2100 block of Pearce Drive just before 9 a.m. Friday. According to an Albany Police Department report, 41-year-old Octavious Jones was asked to leave a residence, he refused and put up a struggle with officers trying to handcuff him.
Two men wanted in robbery assault
The Albany Police Department is looking for two men in connection with the Oct. 15 robbery-attack on a 73-year-old man at A&S Food Mart, 1342 Mobile Ave. The victim was struck, knocked to the ground and robbed of cash and a cellphone.
