SYLVESTER -- The funeral services for the late Mrs. Ida Collins of 303 Worth Street, Sylvester, Georgia, who departed this life on Monday, October 22, 2012 at her residence, will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from the First African Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia with the Reverend Esau Green, officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Chapel AME Church Cemetery in Sumner, Georgia.

Mrs. Ida Collins was born April 29, 1929 in Worth County, Georgia.

At an early age, Ida gave her life to Christ and joined Thompson Grove Baptist Church.

Ida leaves to cherish her memories: Three daughters, Delphine Collins, Deborah Davis, and Lizzie Mae Moore of Sylvester, Georgia; three sons, Robert Collins of Moultrie, GA., Johnny Collins of Albany, GA., and Danny Collins of Sylvester, GA.; a brother, Robert (Jack) Collins of Ocala, Fl.; 31 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 55 great, great grandchildren; and 40 great, great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. One very special son, Freddie C. Billingslea of Sylvester, GA. Two very special nieces, Rudine Collins of Miami, Fl. And Hattie Mae and Ricky Collins of Fort Pierce, FL.
