Police/Fire/EMS report for October 27, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 45 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Public indecency, saggy pants, on the 2000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Burglaries on the 100 block of Whittlesey Court, the 1400 block of East Mercer Avenue, the 200 block of Glade Lane and the 500 block of Gowan Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of Mary Avenue, the 500 block of Johnny Williams Road and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 100 block of North Magnolia Street and the 700 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Missing juvenile on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 1500 block of Cordell Avenue;

— Theft by conversion on the 200 block of Flint Avenue;

— Underage drinking on the 600 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 200 block of Slater King Drive;

— Battery (domestic) on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;

— Domestic calls (unfounded) on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way, the 1400 block of East Broad Avenue and the 300 block of Carriage Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 14 calls Thursday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Vehicle crash on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Damaged property on the 3100 block of Sylvester Road;

— Domestic violence (verbal) on the 3700 block of Radial Avenue;

— Accidental damage: An unrestrained child’s head hit a windshield and cracked it. The driver refused to have EMS check the child on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to 47 calls on Thursday, including 40 medical calls, six trauma calls and one assist to the Albany Fire Department. Medical and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, four obstetrics, three mental health calls, 17 various medical calls, two falls and one vehicle crash victim.
