Why are there rarely squawks that insult Romney? The Herald should not just be printed in Tallahassee, it needs to stay in Tallahassee.

There will be plenty of rebuttal, I'm sure. I just question why the other side of the argument is not selected as a Squawk. The posted squawks are by far pro-Repubican, pro-white, pro-xtian, and oddly, flying in the face of small government, pro-regulation of anything and everything readers don't like.

Obama supporters get their news from John Stewart and Colbert. They do not read for enjoyment. They have no idea how the economy works and don't care. Pro-white? Ask what is thought of Biden, Reid, and Pelosi. Why is it when someone speaks against Romney they always bring up race? Weak arguments lose with people who pay attention.

Romney cannot be insulted! He's intelligent, charming, and very, very handsome...

Maybe you need to read the squawks in the paper? There you will see squawks insulting everybody whether it's Obuma, Romney, Bishop, Police Chief, Phoebe Putney, The Clintons, Former president Bush...........

Or just don't read at all.

@erudite, why would we insult Romney? He's the best thing to come along to this country in a long time. Obama is not qualified to run this country. Never was. His policies have proven that. You don't have to read the Albany Herald, there are plenty of other newspapers & news outlets you can read/view. Nothing wrong with being Republican. It is wrong to want to take from everyone to give to those that won't do for themselves. get over yourself!

Don't you want to be in Florida?

0

erudite 1 year, 5 months ago

Wow, no one really read this, did they? I only asked why the Democrat/Independent/libertarian sides were not picked for ONLINE SQUAWKS.

And, I am most curious as to how people who want small government want things like baggy pants, curfews, photo registration, and the like to be regulated by the government? Why do people want to legislate what a woman can do to her body, who can get married, who is 'worth' federal assistance? I thought many wanted government OUT of our lives. All of this is inviting them into our lives.

Oh, and VSU, I will NEVER spend money on the herald.

0

VSU 1 year, 5 months ago

We read it perfectly! Your question above didn't state ONLINE SQUAWKS, just squawks. Let me refresh your memory...you said " Why are there rarely squawks that insult Romney?" Maybe you are not reading what you are writing. You don't have to spend money on the herald, you could borrow a neighbors paper, but whether you read the paper or not, your question got answered. You wondered why there are no squawks on Romney when the fact is there are many squawks, you just haven't read them. The fact that you haven't read them, does that mean they don't exist?

0

erudite 1 year, 5 months ago

"The posted squawks" ...posted means online; printed means in the paper. Friends don't let friends read the herald. I laughed out loud at this comment, "The fact that you haven't read them, does that mean they don't exist?" This is the same argument people use about gods. The fact that you cannot see gods, does that mean they do not exist?

Any comment of the intrusion of gov't into our lives that the Right so desperately wants out of our lives? How does one reconcile this Janus existence?

0

VSU 1 year, 5 months ago

Once again read your original post. No where does it say online or posted squawks. "Why are there rarely squawks that insult Romney?" was your comment. Doesn't mention anything about posted or online. And I stand by my comment that just because YOU didn't see or read the squawks in the squawkbox does not mean they do not exist. Laugh all you want but the newspaper doesn't evolve around you, and your question has no merit because it is a false statement.

erudite 1 year, 5 months ago

The second paragraph has the phrase "The posted squawks..." I asked three questions; could you be more specific?

Did you mean to write 'revolve' instead of 'evolve'? Nothing revolves around me; I know that. Earth revolves around the Sun. The Moon revolves around Earth.

0

VSU 1 year, 5 months ago

The Earth revolves around the Sun and the Moon revolves around the Earth? Really? Duh gee gosh, I never knew that, I always thought the Earth revolved around the Moon and the Moon revolved around the Sun. Your first paragragh just said squawks, posted squawks could be posted squawks in the herald as well. No mention of posted squawks online. Why don't you just admit that your question was unjustified when you say the herald only prints anti Obama squawks? The fact I left a letter out of a word has nothing to do with anything so don't try to divert your racist comment (which wasn't true by the way) to something that is irrelevant to your comment. You come in here thinking everything you say is right and everything everybody else says is wrong. You were wrong so just get over it. End of discussion, respond if you want to, but I will not be coming back to this story to read it. Bottom line is if you are concerned about what is posted where, why not ask your question to the herald directly?

Gosh, we have had to put up with King, God Obama for the last six years, so get over it. Romney is not deaf dumb and stupid.. Nor has he come to a debate looking like he was stoned on pot. You opened that can of worms when you elected him. He is what he is. He keeps saying over and over what Romney never says what he is going to do. Obama keeps saying what he is going to do and never does it. Before the election his pants will probably catch on fire. Wouldn't that be a hoot!

Amazed2 1 year, 5 months ago

Dear erudite you obviously out touch. All the major news outlets have bashed Rominey for 2 yrs and he has steadily overcome it to the dismay of the left news media. As far as postimg and squawks being all ROMNEY just shows how out of touch you are. By the way you are Obama and you got posted??

2

erudite 1 year, 5 months ago

Perhaps your amazement has taken your ability to spell and read. I never wrote ALL Romney (and look, I can spell his name). You do know that only 6 companies own 90% of the media, right? Comcast--took over NBC (55 Billion in revenue); NewsCorp (Fox and Hulu) 33 Billion in revenue; Time-Warner (2nd largest holder and all of Turners' stuff) 29 Billion in revenue; Walt Disney (ESPN, etc.) 40 Billion in revenue.

So is the right press bashing the right candidate?

Who will Obama have to blame for the mess he inherited from the previous Administration if he is elected? Will he even care, as he told the Russian President, "Once re-elected I can do what I really want to do." (or something to that effect) In other words, if re-elected he thinks he will finally achieve God like status and the heck with those that oppose him and his policies.

Obama the community organizer or Mittens the missionary to France. What a choice. When you guys vote for Mittens just think of the intelligence it required of a Harvard man to tie a poor dog to the roof of a car and drive for 12 hours. That's intelligence! Vote Ron Paul, the only honorable candidate to truly serve America.

1

waltspecht 1 year, 5 months ago

You know, as long as the dog was in a kennel, I don't see a problem. When traveling with Hounds, we have had 2 hard kennels strapped on the roof rack and the dog box full in the pick up bed. Strike dogs commonly ride on a board on the roof, or sometimes the hood. Even works with a drug dog that is trained to sound off. Heck of a way to find a grow house, and the right dog makes a search warrent possible just from their nose report.

0

whodat 1 year, 5 months ago

you would put a dog on the roof for 12 hours (and that was just ONE way)? I'd like to see you ride on the roof for 12 hours. The luggage belongs on the roof, not the damn dog! What the hell is wrong with people who defend this act of animal cruelty??? Are y'all so ga-ga over Romney that he can do no wrong?

Sister_Ruby 1 year, 5 months ago

So why do dogs stick their heads out the car window when the car is moving? They love that! Romney's dog thinks back on that day as THE BEST DAY OF ITS LIFE!!!

2

FryarTuk 1 year, 5 months ago

Well the dog was in a cage. Damned, Walt I don,t think I would have told that story.

0

alleebrin 1 year, 5 months ago

Fryar, you need to crawl into a hole and pull the dirt in behind you! You have nothing to contribute.

1

Sister_Ruby 1 year, 5 months ago

OMG I WISH YOU WOULD SHUT UP, TryarF__!!!.

2

VSU 1 year, 5 months ago

Don't tell us to vote for Ron Paul, get on the phone and call every single American citizen and tell them to vote for Ron Paul. Good luck with that one.

1

USTPC 1 year, 5 months ago

The only way Obama could look intelligent in a debate is if he had the questions ahead of time so that the answers could be input into a teleprompter.

Mittens dog had diahrrea and he washed the dog and car off while the family was made to remain in the car. What a genius. BTW the dog ran away. You knuckledraggers can really choose them. Vote Ron Paul.

0

Cartman 1 year, 5 months ago

Romney put a kenneled dog on the luggage rack of his car; and that is the reason we should vote for Ron Paul? Why didn't you just point this out earlier. It is all much clearer now. Now your posts make complete sense. Oh. Don't mind the nice men in the white coats coming in your front door. They're going to take you to a happy place.

0

FryarTuk 1 year, 5 months ago

Genius, it's the intelligence factor. Just think of how capable this guy is at solving problems. Mittens, the missionary to France, tied the familys' dog Seamus to the roof of a car and drove for 12 hours on a family vacation. Seamus developed diahrrea on the 12 hour ride. Mittens washed the dog and car off making Seamus stay on top of car and requiring his family to remain in the car. He said he thought the dog liked it but Seamus ran away eventually. You wonder if the family enjoyed it as much.

Can you put this together or are you still treating the abrasions on your knuckles?

Vote Ron Paul, the only honorable candidate to truly serve America.
