UPDATE: The two wanted men turned themselves in at about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. Christopher Gernard Davis and Booker Terrell Sims were taken to Dougherty County Jail, according to an Albany Poloce Department email.

ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department seeks help locating two men wanted on warrants for aggravated assault and influencing a witness.

Christopher Gernard Davis, 21, and Booker Terrell Sims, 25, were armed on Oct. 25 and tried to influence a witness against Davis' brother, Malcom Davis, a police report stated. Malcom Davis is accused of aggravated assault and faces trial in November, the report added.

Behavior like this needs to be dealt with in the harshest terms. Wittness intimidation is one of the cornor stones of Gang intimidation. It cannot be tollerated, nor allowed to succeed. These individuals should be hunted down with every tool Law Enforcement has, then denied Bond and sentenced to Max. We have got to show folks we intend to worrk with people and protect those willing to stand up.
