Trailer park argument puts one man in hospital

ALBANY, Ga. — An argument about burning trash in a barrel led to a fight in which one man suffered a knife wound at about 7:55 p.m. Monday at East Park Mobile Home Park, said a Dougherty County Police Department official.
Joshua Halley, 25, was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with a knife wound after the fight, said county police Capt. Tom Jackson. A hospital spokeswoman on Tuesday said Halley was not in the facility.
Christopher Grant, 20, was arrested and taken to Dougherty County Jail, where he was charged with aggravated assault, Jackson said.
Jackson said warrants were sworn out for the arrest of the others involved in the 3203 Sylvester Road fight including Coby Grant, Christopher Grant’s brother, and Evelyn Harp, a friend of Halley.
There was an argument about someone burning trash in Grant’s trash barrel, Jackson said. The brothers went to confront Halley, found that they were at the wrong place and began to walk away, he added.
The argument continued with all four people involved, police said. A physical fight erupted, Jackson said. Halley suffered a cut by a “blue knife” wielded by Christopher Grant, Jackson concluded.
