ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 39 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Aggravated assault on East Waddel Avenue at Cason Street, the 500 block of Cherry Avenue and the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Burglary on the 600 block of Burke Avenue, the 1200 block of Teche Avenue, the 900 block of Moultrie Road, the 100 block of Collins Street and the 300 block of Hudson Lane;
-- Theft by taking on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 2200 block of West Gordon Street;
-- Entering auto on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of Moultrie Road and the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 1100 block of East Fourth Avenue and the 800 block of Dorsett Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 300 block of Jackson Street, the 1300 block of Hobson Street, the 1900 block of Riverview Circle and the 2500 block of Brierwood Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 21 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Theft on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road;
-- Aggravated assault on the 3000 block of East park Avenue;
-- Criminal trespass/disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
-- Vehicle crash on the 2100 block of Nelms Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 62 calls on Tuesday.
There were 41 medical calls, 20 trauma calls and an Albany Fire Department assist. Medical calls and trauma calls included:
-- Nine respiratory issues, five seizure calls, four chest pains, four miscellaneous pain calls, 16 various medical calls, 13 vehicle crash victims and one fall.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 25 incidents.
-- Six active alarms, two vehicle crashes, unauthorized burn, two cable lines down, power line down, vehicle fire, assist EMS, two authorized burns, two false alarms, structure fire due to faulty extension cord, electrical short, unattended cooking, debris fire, a cardiac arrest and two grass fires.
