MILLEDGEVILLE — The Darton men’s soccer team improved to 5-0 Monday with a 1-0 Region XVII victory against Georgia Military College.
The Cavs, who are ranked No. 3 in the nation, got a second-half goal from Jowayne Laidley to break the 0-0 tie.
GMC didn’t have a shot on goal in a game in which Darton dominated possession.
The Cavs also won Saturday in overtime against No. 8 Georgia Perimeter.
Freshman Jahmel Swan scored in OT to give Darton a 3-2 victory. Also scoring for the Cavs were Laidley and Jaylon Bather.
The Darton women’s soccer team also beat Georgia Military College on Monday, giving the Lady Cavs (1-2) their first victory of the season.
