The entity that deserves MOST of the credit for "Clinton's success" is the Republican Congress, led by Newt Gingrich, that existed for the last 6 of Clinton's 8 years. Plain and simple. Clinton "got conservative religion" after his shellacking at the end of his 2nd year and they got things done. Obama? Forget about it.

Republican Congress? Bush had a Republican Congress most of his administration and look where that got us. The Republican House had only one goal... Oppose ANYTHING that would help America. That way Obama would be a one term president. That's all they have cared about since he was elected. To He!! with the people, let's make him look bad.

1

FlunkyMonkey 1 year, 7 months ago

President Jackass doesn't need any help to look bad. To paraphrase Madea, He can do bad all by hizself.

3

alleebrin 1 year, 7 months ago

As I see the picture, if Obummer had any experience at anything, he'd be able to work with the congress to get things done. He doesn't know anything about running a country. How he got elected, I'll never know I'm sure!

1

Jimboob 1 year, 7 months ago

Obama got elected because of George W. Bush.

1

rightasrain 1 year, 7 months ago

You're dead wrong...Bush was completing his second term in office; Obama was elected by losers of his kind thinking they would (and have) "get theirs". Not again!

0

FlunkyMonkey 1 year, 7 months ago

He got elected because people voted black, not experience. Also, if he gets elected this time, it will be not only because of his color but he will have the illegal alien vote and the prison vote and anyone else who couldn't cast a legal vote in a presidential election.

1

straightface 1 year, 7 months ago

FYI: Obama did not get elected because he was black.. if you look at the statistics they said the hardly any blacks voted for him it was majority WHITES.. pull it up and do some research. It wasnt the blacks who voted him in it was the WHITES!!! so be mad and pist off at them not the blacks..

1

Shinedownfan 1 year, 7 months ago

Yep, lots of white people voted for him to prove to themselves they weren't racist. Let's hope this time they don't, so they can prove to themselves they are not idiots.

USTPC 1 year, 7 months ago

Really? Maybe you need to so some research.

"The 2008 presidential election saw a significant increase in voter turnout among young people, blacks and Hispanics,"

"Blacks had the highest turnout rate among 18- to 24-year-old voters -- 55 percent, an 8 percent increase from 2004"

Here is a link to the article if you would care to read the whole thing and actually want to know the truth:

To say "hardly any blacks voted for Obuma" I don't buy that for a minute, but I do agree that if it wasn't for the white vote, Obuma would not have won.

0

waltspecht 1 year, 7 months ago

I have got to ask. Just how in the heck does one find out how anyone voted? Last I knew it was a secret ballot. Are you saying the Government has some means of tracking how people voted? Or are you going by these outfits that call folks, that routinely assemble facts to meet the desires of whomever is fotting the bill.

0

USTPC 1 year, 7 months ago

I believe the estimates are based on statistics. You have to register to vote which has your name, birth date, race, etc. Then when you vote they mark that down and by that they can determine what percentage of each race voted and what the turn out was by age group. Then from the votes cast for each candidate they can get an estimate.

stc1993 1 year, 7 months ago

I see how you got your name, You can't say that with a straightface. I believe the statistics were more like 90%+ blacks voted for Obummer.

0

alleebrin 1 year, 7 months ago

Got that one right! Couldn't have said it better myself! lol

scooby62 1 year, 7 months ago

Clinton may have had a Republican Congress, but I do believe that Obama has a Democratic Congress. That's why he's been able to pass everything through.

Obama is destroying our nation little by little. Look at the economy, the morality, the healthcare, the destruction and attack on the principals of which this country was founded, and the discontent and inability to work together in Washington. We are ready for a positive change in Washington. You can't blame anyone except him.

1

Shinedownfan 1 year, 7 months ago

Makes you wonder if he really does hate the USA, you know?

0

USTPC 1 year, 7 months ago

Does not make me wonder at all. He does.

RedEric 1 year, 7 months ago

Obama don't need no stinking Congress. As he has said, He will just do things on his own. He has passed Cap and Trade, The Dream Act etc on his own. As far as Obama is concerned congress can just stay home.

We wouldn't expect anything different from you corch.

Jimboob 1 year, 7 months ago

Most of you people get your opinions served up on FOX News with a side order of Rush...

2

VSU 1 year, 7 months ago

And the other people get their opinions served up on CNN with a side order of BS.

RedEric 1 year, 7 months ago

Oh No Jimboob, the most entertaining channel to watch the republican convention was MSNBC. After the speeches, Chrissie would positively screech and that Maddow would talk out of the side of His mouth

FryarTuk 1 year, 7 months ago

How about some Clinton credit going to Monica Lewenski? I always thought if W had a Monica Lewenski instead of a Turd Blossom, he would have been a lot more effective. There probably would have been fewer wars.

ittybittyme 1 year, 7 months ago

Jimboob, I don't need Fox news to tell me President Obama is clueless. I read several newspapers daily and they are not all conservative newspapers.I watch CSPAN and other television news programs, so I can form my own opinion. Even the liberal newspapers and television programs think Obama has done a horrible job. Don't underestimate people just because you are a liberal and you don't like conservatives having an opinion. It's okay when you have an opinion, but us conservatives are racists, bigots, and stupid when we have one. Now, I have stated my opinion in writing and that is it. I won't be fussing and arguing about what I think or believe. I made my statement and that is it, unlike liberals who constantly change their minds, attack others, and stir the pot.

Obama when he ran preached hope and change. Change the way things are done in Washington. Be more transparent. Be non partisan. All sounded great didn't it? Then what happened when he got elected?

Transparent? Laughable. He is the most secretive president we have ever had. He has sealed every piece of information possible including his birth certificate, his school records and all the behind closed door meetings he has had. He has continued to do things behind closed doors. Remember the conversation with Putin regarding missile defense of our country - “after my election I have more flexibility.”

Non Partisan - yeah, we saw how that worked the first year he was in office. He had a democratic controlled congress and in spite of the fact that the majority of the American people (you know the ones that elected him and congressional members and who they are supposed to be representing) did not want or agree with the healthcare bill he held secret meetings with Democratic leaders to draft the healthcare bill and then forced a vote before anyone had a chance to read the bill and got it passed. This was in his first year. Do you think that should have been the priority? As a result of that bill being passed he then lost control of congress at the next mid-term election. Do you think that was bad luck or because the people were pissed about what he did and did not do in the first two years of office?

Change? National debt is now in excess of 16 Trillion dollars.

Simple, if this country re-elects OBAMA, we will no longer have a country. We need some real change and Romney might not be perfect, but he is sure better than what we have. He will at least be a borned again Christian and not a Muslim.

2

FryarTuk 1 year, 7 months ago

Romney is not "a borned again Christian." He is a Mormon. Mormon's are not biblical or trinitarian Christians. Among many theological scholars Mormon and many mainline Christians, as well as major Christian Churches, Mormon faith is not assigned a Christian label. That is why he will not allow his faith to be discussed at all. Not that his being Mormon matters it doesn't and it shouldn't.

1

Jimboob 1 year, 7 months ago

My Baptist preacher said Mormonism is a cult... Just sayin'

0

USTPC 1 year, 7 months ago

And some people have posted on here that all religions are cults. What is your point?

2

cfcarroll64 1 year, 7 months ago

Obama had one thing in mind when he was elected and that was to destroy this county. And i have to say that what i saw on the day of his election was a growd of blacks watching tv and having a glory to be shouting good time. And my voter registration card has nothing on it stating my race so the polls taken was not from all the voters only the ones chosen which were the whites and very few blacks.

0

43cop 1 year, 7 months ago

The article below was copied from Wickepedia under the topic of : Are Morman's considered Christian? I am not arguing the topic as I am a Baptist and strive each day to be a better person and certainly a better Christian. My main point is the "WORD" Muslim, they don't even come close to being Christians. Instead, many of them are deamons of this world and they will be the ones to answer to God one day.

Mormons self-identify as Christian, though some of their beliefs differ from mainstream Christianity. Mormons believe in the Bible, as well as other books of scripture, such as the Book of Mormon. They have a unique view of cosmology, and believe that all people are spirit-children of God. Mormons believe that returning to God requires following the example of Jesus Christ, and accepting his atonement through ordinances such as baptism.

0

FryarTuk 1 year, 7 months ago

Mormons identify themself as Christians through the restored Christian message and retranslation of the scriptures of Joseph Smith. Hence Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wikipedia while a source for general orientation is not a final source for factual understanding of events or subjects which lend themselves to interpretation. It is universally accepted that basic Christianity germinated in the New Testament and expressed in the Affirmatin of Faith declaring the centrality of the trinity at the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. Mormons do not accept either the doctrine of the Trinity or the biblical definitions with out their reinterpreation fundamentally excluding them from the traditional Christian category. That is not to be judgemental and it certainly is no reason not to vote for a Mormon no more than believing a false statement that they are Christians is a reason to vote for one. Wisely, Romney eschews the subject. As a Mormon Bishop he understands the theological definitions.

0

FlunkyMonkey 1 year, 7 months ago

The difference is, at least Romney is (gasp!) dare I say it? HONEST ABOUT HIS CHOICE OF WORSHIP. President Jackass can't make up his mind---

0

FryarTuk 1 year, 7 months ago

For all the good it does either one of them.
