ALBANY -- Mr. Franklin Parker, 56, of Albany departed this life Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Phoebe Putney North. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Highway 19 South in Albany. Words of comfort will be by Brother Joseph Pratt and burial will follow in Sheparn Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester.
Franklin Parker was born on April 2,1956 in Sylvester, GA to the proud parents of Mr. Willie Frank Parker and the late Mrs. Helen William. On January 29, 1989, 23 years ago Franklin married the love of his life, Chrystal Parker and they raised four beautiful children.
Franklin dedicated his life to Jehovah God in 1989 and became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He served as a faithful member until his death on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
Mr. Franklin Parker leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and dedicated wife, Mrs. Chrystal Parker; his four loving children, Franchesca Parker, Aurianna Parker, Franklin R. Parker, Crystal S. Parker; three loving adopted daughters, Kristen Belk, Ericka Knowles, Jylantha Redding and adopted son Deion Moore all of Albany, GA; and his loving granddaughter, Lillie Akilah Lamar.
Franklin had a large loving family brothers Edward Parker (Idell) of Leesburg: Ozie Parker (Denise) of Macon; Micheal Tharpe-Shelton (Deceased); Shedrick Parker (Jett) Albany, GA; Jimmy Williams of Sylvester, Henderson Williams of Sylvester; Lindsey Napier (Phyllis) of Warner Robbins; Stephen Napier (Martha) of Tifton; Jimmy Napier (Deceased); Francis Camille Anderson of Tifton; Jean Cecilia Parker of Warner Robbins; Samantha LuAnn of Titusville FL; Rosemary Hicks (Bonnie) of Sylvester; Rachel Jordan of Sylvester; Lora Williams of Sylvester; Uncle Buddy (Deceased); Uncle Junior (Deceased), Uncle Sammie (Deceased) (Dorothy); Aunt Martha (BayBay) (Uncle Herman Deceased) of Titusville, FL; Aunt Rose Lockhart (Deceased); Aunt Francis; Aunt Jean Hagen of California and a host of nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much, and many, many friends that he loved. He had three special friends, Bro Jimmie Green, Mr BT Edmonds and Mr. Clint Allen.
The family will receive friends at Meadows Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The family of Mr. Parker will receive friends and relatives at the home of his brother, Mr. Edward Parker of 426 Middle Road in Lee County, GA.
