Deivon Lee-Arthur Hudson, 21, was arrested recently and charged with the June 29 beating death of 4-year-old Julian English. Hudson turned himself in Friday at 12:30 p.m., according to a Sylvester Police Department report.
Worth County EMS found English unresponsive at a 1202 N. Washington St. apartment in Sylvester, where he was under Hudson’s supervision, the report said. English was declared dead after his arrival at Phoebe Worth Hospital.
The report stated that the death was ruled a homicide, and an autopsy showed blunt-force trauma to the head and chest killed the boy. Police investigated, and Hudson faces charges of murder, felony murder and cruelty to a child.
