Thomas Woody Williams, 35, was arrested by Albany Police Department Gang Unit investigators at about 5 p.m. Friday on Dougherty County Police Department warrants, an APD report stated.
According to the report Williams was charged with four counts of cruelty to a child, theft by taking, battery (family violence) and a probation violation. He was found in room 240 at the 201 Thornton Drive Motel 6 after a tip came in to investigators. Williams offered no resistance.
According to the Dougherty County Jail automated inmate information system Williams is in jail with no bond and no scheduled court appearance.
