Police/Fire/EMS - Sept. 13, 2012

ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 35 incidents Tuesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Thefts by taking on the 2900 block of Gillionville Road, the 600 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 500 block of Rosenberg Street;

--Burglaries on the 2400 block of Flo Drive and the 700 block of Georgetown Drive;

-- Entering auto on the 1700 block of Balsam Lane;

-- Forgeries on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Interference with an officer on the 1800 block of Sycamore Court;

-- Disorderly conduct on the 1400 block of East First Avenue;

-- Robbery by snatching on the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;

-- Motor vehicle theft on the 2300 block of North Monroe Street;

-- Vandalism, assault (domestic), on the 2200 block of Pace Street;

-- Assaults (domestic) on the 500 block of Swift Street, the 1700 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 300 block of Mock Road;

-- Battery (domestic) on the 1900 block of Stuart Avenue;

-- Domestic call on the 700 block of Cotton Avenue;

-- Domestic calls (unfounded) on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive, the 800 block of McIntosh Road and the 2100 block of West Gorden Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least three calls Tuesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Wanted persons on the 2800 block of Moultrie Road and the 500 block of Honeysuckle Drive.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 61 calls on Tuesday, including 41 medical calls, 17 trauma calls and three assists. Medical and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six chest pain calls, six respiratory issues, two diabetic issues, 23 various medical calls, nine vehicle crash victims and four falls.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to six incidents Tuesday, including a structure fire with $3,500 in damages, an oil spill on a road, a tree on a power line, a false alarm, 9/11 ceremony standby and a grass fire.
