ALBANY, Ga. -- A man told the Albany Police Department that he was cutting grass outside a supermarket when a gun was pointed at him, reports show.
Contact was made with the victim at his home on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue early Thursday afternoon. He said he was cutting grass at the Harvey's on Radium Springs Road when -- while he was at the rear of the store -- a black Lexus with tinted windows pulled up beside him, a report narrative on the incident states.
A suspect, whose name was redacted in the narrative, got out of the front passenger side door, pointed a gun at the victim's face and verbally threatened him. The victim, identified as Travis Hall, said the suspect then got back in the car and drove off.
The victim also said two of his co-workers witnessed the incident, but they were not on the scene when the responding APD officer arrived. He opted to call police once he got home, the report said.
No known surveillance footage exists. The case remains active.
