Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday School this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains.


A gospel sing is planned at 7 p.m. today at Maule’s Lake Side Hanger at Spence Field in Moultrie.

Featured will be Jerry Hamner Ministries of Adel and the Dotson Family Quartet of Fairfield, Ala.

Institutional 1st Baptist Church will host its annual Women’s Day Celebration at 11 a.m. Sunday. Debora Knowles will be guest speaker. The church is located at 1410 N. Slappey Blvd.

Evangelistic Temple of God is hosting its pastor and church anniversary beginning Sunday and continuing through Sept. 23.

Trumpet of God Ministries and Training Center of Albany will host a “Leading Leaders Changing Church Conference” Oct. 3-5 at Sheraton Gateway Hotel, 1900 Sullivan Road, Atlanta. For additional information and specifics on the conference, contact Apostle Charlene Glover at Trumpet of God.

Midway Methodist Church in Crisp County will host the Wesley Chapel All-Day Singing Convention from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the church on State Highway 257.

A covered-dish luncheon will be served during the noon hour. The event will feature singing from various new Southern Gospel songbooks with special groups and soloists featured.

Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries will celebrate the 7th Pastoral Appreciation of Apostle Felix L. Revills and first lady Andrea Revills, Sept 25-30.
