ALBANY — The Dougherty softball team won its 10th game in a row Monday with a 13-2 victory against Mitchell County.
The Lady Trojans overcame seven errors and just four hits to extend their winning streak.
Sha’Shun Johnson was 1-for-1 with three RBI to lead Dougherty at the plate.
De’Shaara Brunson struck out four and was the winning pitcher.
The Lady Trojans (10-3) play again Thursday at Americus-Sumter.
TERRELL ACADEMY 10, WESTWOOD 6: Multiple errors were costly for the Lady Wildcats, who were led at the plate by Tatum Brown (2-for-4, two triples, and two runs) and Lindsey Bowles (1-for-3, two runs, two stolen bases).
Claire Collins struck out two and was the losing pitcher.
No stats from Terrell Academy were provided.
The Lady Wildcats (8-6) play again today at Fullington Academy.
