Police/Fire/EMS report for September 21, 2012

ALBANY — A fight between two women at 2:40 a.m on the 700 block of West Whitney Avenue Thursday resulted in injuries to both, according to an Albany Police Department report.

The report stated that Rekneesha Harpe, 30, suffered an injury to her left eye and was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. Cabina McCoy, 36, had several lacerations to her face, the report said, but refused treatment. Both were cited for disorderly conduct and released.

ALBANY POLICE: Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 33 incidents Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Theft by taking on the 300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1600 block of Cromartie Beach Drive and the 2100 block of Beachview Drive;

— Camping on the street on the 3900 block of Newton Road;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 1800 block of Schley Avenue;

— Recovered property, a .40-caliber Glock handgun on the 1300 block of Lee Street;

— Burglary on the first block of Dobbs Drive, the 600 block of 16th Avenue, the 300 block of Talafax Road and the 2800 block of Westgate Drive;

— Theft by deception on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Entering auto on the 1100 block of Rawson Drive;

— Assault (domestic) on the 1000 block of Netherland Lane;

— Sexual assault (domestic) on the 1900 block of Riverview Circle;

— Domestic on the 200 block of Tremont Avenue;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue, the 400 block of Odom Avenue, the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and the 400 block of West Highland Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police Department officers responded to at least 10 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Burglary on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Welfare check on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Animal call on the 500 block of Champion Avenue and the 3000 block of East Park Court;

— Domestic (verbal) on the 4400 block of Stagecoach Road, the 800 block of Phoebe Street and the 800 block of Community Avenue.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service personnel responded to 48 calls on Wednesday.

There were 38 medical calls and 10 trauma calls. Medical Calls and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, seven respiratory calls, five chest pains, two diabetic issues, 21 various medical calls, six falls and four vehicle crash victims.

LEE SHERIFF: The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to at least 29 calls, including:

— Vehicle crash on the 3000 block of Highway I95 and the 2900 block of Ledo Road;

— Traffic complaint on the 400 block of Forrester Parkway, the 1000 block of Smithville Road and the 1200 block of Highway 82;

— Trespassing on the 2800 block of Ledo Road;

— Domestic on the 100 block of Augusta Court;

— Reported drunken driver on the 100 block of Lovers Lane Road.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to seven incidents, including unattended cooking, two cable lines down, ventilate smoke, electric short, unauthorized burn and an active alarm.
