Iran unfit to lead any world order

A new world order? One led by the likes of Iran?

Quite frankly, the concept is so scary it’s difficult to envision.

But that’s what Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday, said the world needs, calling the United States a bully.

“God willing, a new order will come together and we’ll do away with everything that distances us,” Ahmadinejad told. “Now even elementary school kids throughout the world have understood that the United States government is following an international policy of bullying. They command from behind the microphone. They command and impose their wills on how things should be done. I do believe the system of empires has reached the end of the road. The world can no longer see an emperor commanding it.

“Bullying must come to an end. Occupation must come to an end.”

Perhaps elementary school in nations that choose to selectively write their textbooks, such as leaving the nation of Israel off world maps, might be under the misconceptions that Ahmadinejad, who never lets facts get in the way of his hyperbole, spews. After all, impressionable young children can only learn what they’re taught, and they have no way of knowing how much they are lied to by “leaders” by Ahmadinejad.

In fact, it’s hard to come up with a worse scenario. Without the United States and its military holding people like Ahmadinejad at bay, Israel would be a smoldering heap of ruin.

What’s really in his craw is the resistance of the rest of the world — most of it, anyway — to Iran’s entry into the nuclear arms club. President Obama told the United Nations General Assembly that he wants to resolve that issue through diplomacy, but that there won’t be an unlimited time to do it. Israel, which has the most to lose, is already antsy, and Iranian officials, with their skill for diplomacy, threatened to attack U.S. targets if Israel makes a military move against Iran.

Time is what Iran is playing for here. Every day that it puts off a resolution is another day that it is closer to becoming a nuclear version of a pyromaniac with a flame thrower.

Obama noted Tuesday that Iran has failed repeatedly to demonstrate that its nuclear program is peaceful and has failed to meet its obligations to the United Nations.

Meanwhile, the Iranian government has been propping up Syria’s dictatorship and giving aid and support to terrorist groups abroad.

That’s not the actions of a proponent of a new world order.

It’s the action of a nation continuing a disastrous path toward old world disorder.

After the election, get ready to wear a long robe and face piece. If Obama wins, it is all over for the USA and we will never see another Republican president. But maybe if this is so, the lazy spoiled generation will wake up to the real world. Women are only good for bearing babies.

You mean, like that 1999/2000 year thing? It was the end of the world. Now, we only reside in your tortured dreams. Chicken Little was a favorite of mine, too.

A-Jad supports a new world order led by 3rd world nations like Iran and Venezuela that to seek counter the America's.global influence This is similar to the Tripartite Pact (Japan, Germany and Italy) better known as the Axis Powers during WW II that sought to counter Britain and America. Iran seeks hegemony in the Middle East region. This idea goes back to the old Persian Empire. For the record Israel has not signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty yet. Iran and other neighbors knows this. This has given the Islamic theocracy a license to pursue nuclear power. No longer does a nation need to annex or conquer territory to get the world's attention. I rank war between Iran and Israel high on the scale now.
