ALBANY, Ga. -- Easter Seals will host the Heels and Wheels Duathlon Challenge to benefit Megan's House Saturday at the Albany Area YMCA Sports Park.
The second annual event will consist of a two-mile run, followed by an 11-mile bike course, and finish with another two-mile run.
Activities will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Albany Area YMCA Sports Park, 4508 Gillionville Road.
The event is brought to Albany through support from CVS Caremark, Reeves Construction Co., Women's Health Professionals, The Albany Area YMCA, The Columbus Organization, Mediacom, PMF, and Georgia BioMass.

Megan's House is a respite home for children up to age 17 who have developmental disabilities, autism, or are medically fragile. Megan's House is available for a minimum of 24 hours to a maximum of two weeks per visit and may serve up to two children at one time.
Services are provided in three locations including Albany, Valdosta and Waycross. The cost to the family is determined by a sliding fee scale and scholarships are available.
