CAMILLA -- Johnnie Magalyn Adair White, 94, of Camilla, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 28 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Pelham. Rev. Jimmy Stewart will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Powell, Bryan McKenzie, Todd McKenzie, Jay McKenzie, Charles Pollock, and Donald Bishop.
Born September 10, 1918 to the late Wincie Anderson Adair and Frank Adair in Colquitt County, GA, she lived all of her life in Mitchell County.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, C. O. White and four sisters and three brothers. Mrs. White was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Having never worked outside the home and farm, she was always there as the "family rock". She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Camilla.
Survivors include six children, Nina White Edwards of Carrollton, GA, John White & wife, Ann, of Birmingham, AL, Norma White Gilpatrick, Bobby White, Mac White & wife, Geri, and Frank White & wife, Adolyn, all of Camilla, GA. thirteen grandchildren, Martin Edwards & wife, Missy, Christopher Pollock, Keith Edwards & wife, Elizabeth, Blake Pollock & wife, Judy, Shane White & wife, Suzanne, Todd White & wife, Kelly, Jamie White, Matt White, Angie White, Alison Hall & husband, Drew, Adam White, Hannah White, and Austin White; six great grandchildren, Laney Pollock, Carly White, Shelby Pollock, Carter White, Harrison Edwards, and Jackson Hall.
Visitation will be from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
