Police/Fire/EMS report for September 28, 2012

ALBANY — According to Dougherty County Police Department reports, officers answered a call about six juveniles beating a juvenile on Impala Street at about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived “the suspects were gone and the victim stated that the blood all over him was the result of a cut finger.” The juvenile admitted drinking, was released to his mother and advised that a complaint against him would be filed.

Albany police responded to at least 43 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Public indecency, saggy pants on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of Tremont Avenue;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 1400 block of Evelyn Avenue and the 1200 block of South Davis Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1900 block of Robinhood Road;

— Entering auto on the 2500 block of North Hilltop Drive, the 1200 block of Kingston Court, the 1900 block of North Monroe Street the and the 2600 block of Devon Drive;

— Curfew for minors on the 900 block of Eighth Avenue;

— Financial card fraud on the 700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of West Fourth Avenue;

— Burglary on the 2200 block of Oxford Road, the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane, the 800 block of 14th Avenue, the 1000 block of Moultrie Road and the 500 block of Ebony Lane;

— Battery on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Interference with officer on the 300 block of East Broad;

— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Assault (domestic) on the 1800 block of North Maple Street;

— Domestic on the 700 block of Corn Avenue;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2800 block of Davenport Drive, the 1200 block of Bonny View Avenue and the 200 block of West Tift Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 20 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Two traffic arrests on South Westover Boulevard, one each on Dorough Avenue, North Mock Road and Gillionville Road;

— Burglary on the 200 block of Holly Drive;

—Abandoned vehicle on Old Old Dawson Road at Forrester Road;

— Theft on the 3600 block of Council Drive;

— Vehicle crash on the 1900 block of Hancock Road.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: .364The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 57 calls on Wednesday.

There were 47 medical calls and 10 trauma calls. Medical Calls and trauma calls included but were not limited to:

— Seven respiratory calls, four seizures, two cardiac arrests, two chest pains, 28 various medical, five falls and two vehicle crash victims.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 10 incidents.

— A gas leak, two cardiac arrests, electric short, two activated alarms, controlled burns, bedroom fire, unauthorized burn and a vehicle crash.
