The Power Team is coming to First Free Will Baptist Church of Albany on Oct. 17-21. The team of world class athletes will demonstrate power, strength, speed and inspiration at 7 p.m. each date. New Mt. Holder Baptist Church will hosts its 13th annual Love Fellowship program at 7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Guests for each night will be the Rev. Roland Jenkins and New Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Monday, the Rev. Sidney Curley and New St. James Baptist Church on Tuesday, Elder Earlie Teemer and New Mt. Olive Worship Center on Wednesday, Bishop Willie B. Young Jr. and The Lighthouse Church of Deliverance on Thursday and the Rev. Lucious Mitchell and Macedonia and Green Grove Baptist Churches on Friday.

Blue Spring Baptist Church in Albany will observe its pastor’s anniversary with services Thursday, Friday and next Sunday. Services are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday. The Rev. Kendrick Barlow will speak Thursday.The Rev. Sterling Calhoun will speak Friday. Sunday’s program begins at 3:30 p.m. and features the Rev. Dan Shealy.

Cornerstone Ministries will have a community picnic 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. today. The event will feature food, pony rides, fun houses and other activities for children. The location is 202 S. Carroll St.

Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2505 Sylvester Road, is sponsoring a community health fair 9 a.m.-1 p.m. today. Screenings will be done for blood pressure, sugar, body mass index and hemoglobin. Presentations on diabetes and hypertension will be presented at 11 a.m. and noon. Light refreshments will be served.
