ALBANY — Fleming Road will be closed to traffic at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing just west of Short Street beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The closing will continue for about three days as railroad crews make improvements to the track. Traffic will be detoured to Short Street to bypass the construction area.
Although the intersection of Short Street at Mock Road is designed as a right turn only, traffic will be allowed to turn left during this period for motorists needed to go south on Mock Road toward Moultrie Road.
