Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday School this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains.


New Mount Holder Baptist Church is having a youth revival April 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. each date. Guest evangelist with be Wayne O. Grant, pastor of Spirit of Truth Prayer and Intercession Ministries Inc. of Leesburg. The church is located at 4524 Harris Road.

Poulan Free Will Baptist Church will host revival services Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. each day. Homecoming is planned at 11 a.m. on April 13.

Baconton United Methodist Church is hosting a gospel sing at 7 p.m. April 12 featuring South Georgia Quartet from Warner Robins. A love offering will be taken and refreshments will be served.

Greater Fellowship Christian Ministries will celebrate the first anniversary of the church and the pastor at 2 p.m. Sunday at Merry Acres Conference Center. Guest speaker will be Ronald Smith from Berachah Fellowship Church.

Lighthouse Ministries will host its annual Spring Festival Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. A variety of items will be sold including clothing, toys, furniture and more as well as homemade food items such as cakes, pies, cookies and candy. Other food available for sale include sausage biscuits, Boston butts, chipped pork plates, barbeque sandwiches, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. The church is located at 2320 S. Liberty Expressway.

Blooming Lighthouse Ministries in Pelham will celebrate its 103rd year of operation with services at 7 p.m. April 10-14. The church is located at 3502 Mill Pond Road. For additional information, call (229) 224-7563.
