Grand Jury returns indictments

ALBANY — Among the individuals indicted by the Dougherty County Grand Jury Wednesday were Garmyle Clinton, Ricardo Sherrod Fletcher and Brandon Jerrod Mackens.

According to an indictment, the three were charged with one count of trafficking in cocaine, having been in possession of more than 28 grams of the controlled substance.

In addition, all three were indicted on one count each of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession with intent to distribute an illegal substance within 1,000 feet of a housing project; possession with intent to distribute illegal substances within 1,000 feet of a park; possession, distribution and sale of dangerous drugs; possession of drugs not in their original container; and possession of drug-related objects. All offenses are alleged to have taken place on or about July 20, 2012.

The grand jury also indicted Lenall Rozell Frazier on three counts of aggravated assault. The indictment alleges that on Jan. 11, Frazier shot Donnell McCoy Jr., Sherrill Everette and shot at Kendrick Coleman with a pistol.

For the same three attacks, Frazier was indicted on three counts of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
