Police/Fire/EMS - April 11, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 28 incidents on Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Recovered property on the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 2600 block of Boynton Lane and the 1300 block of Gillespie Avenue;

— Burglaries in the first degree on the 900 block of WillowWood Drive and the 1200 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Misplaced property on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 3600 block of Castle Pines Lane;

— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of Davidson Drive, the 400 block of West Tift Avenue and the 500 block of Faulk Court;

— Simple battery on the 800 block of Seventh Avenue and the 800 block of Odom Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property in the second degree on the 600 block of West Society Avenue and the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

— Unruly child on the 1700 block of Sanford Drive;

— Thefts by taking on the 900 block of South Maple Street, the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Saggy Pants on the 1700 block of Edgerly Avenue;

— Domestic disputes (unfounded) on the 500 block of Porter Lane and the 2300 block of Palmyra Road;

— Speeding on the 2000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2300 block of Palmyra Road;

— Entering autos on the 1000 block of North Madison Street and the 600 block of West Second Avenue;

— Assault on the 300 block of South Jackson Street;

— Identity fraud on the 500 block of Cochran Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Traffic accident on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of Holly Drive;

— Family violence on the 3600 block of Council Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, available records show. Incidents included a vehicle fire, fire safety programs and alarm safety programs.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 46 calls on Tuesday, including 48 medical calls, seven trauma calls and one assist for the Albany Fire Department. Medical calls included five respiratory issue calls, four faint calls, four diabetic issues, two chest pain calls, two altered mental status, two seizures, two mental health calls, one OB/labor call, one miscellaneous pain call and 24 various medical calls. Trauma calls included three auto accident victims, three falls and one laceration.
