Police/Fire/EMS report for April 20, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 14 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Interfering with a city officer on the 600 block of Pine Avenue;

— Graffiti on the 300 block of Tremont Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 3800 block of Old Dawson Road and the 300 block of South Valencia Drive;

— Open container on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2300 block of Dawson Road and the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— Assault on the 600 block of Willard Avenue;

— Simple battery on the 200 block of Cannon Lane;

— Suspended license on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Wanted person on the 300 block of Walnut Street;

— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 1400 block of Whitney Avenue;

— Burglary, 1st degree on the 600 block of Eugemar Drive:

DOUGHERTY POLICE — The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least six calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 3600 block of Council Road;

— Family violence on the 6600 block of Newton Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available records show.

The incidents included: car fires, chemical spill, activated alarm, structure fire, grease fire and short in fuse box.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 63 calls on Thursday, available records show. There were 49 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and one assist for the Albany Fire Department.

The medical calls included: 11 respiratory issue call, four seizure calls, three faint calls, two diabetic issue calls, one chest pain, one altered mental status call, one mental health call, one miscellaneous pain call one cardiac arrest call and 23 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included: seven auto accident victims, three falls and two assaults.
