DETROIT -- Miguel Cabrera and Austin Jackson clubbed three-run home runs as host Detroit completed a three-game sweep of Atlanta.

Red-hot Omar Infante added a solo blast and Doug Fister (4-0) allowed three runs and struck out eight in seven strong innings as the Tigers outscored the Braves 25-7 in the series and sent them to their fourth straight defeat.

Chris Johnson had a pair of hits, including an RBI double in a three-run fourth for Atlanta, which finished 3-7 on its 10-game road trip. Left-hander Mike Minor (3-2) was charged with six runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Jackson hit a towering three-run homer in the third off Minor, who allowed more than three runs for only the second time in his last 20 starts. After the Braves tied it in the fourth, Victor Martinez put the Tigers ahead to stay with a sacrifice fly in the sixth before Infante ignited the five-run seventh with his second homer in as many games.

A walk to Jackson ended Minor’s night, but reliever Cory Gearrin allowed a single to Torii Hunter before Cabrera hammered an opposite-field shot into the right-field stands to make it 8-3. Cabrera also doubled to extend his hitting streak to 12 games.
