LCHS to perform Shakespeare

LEESBURG, Ga. — Lee County High School will perform its third annual Bard-in-the-’Burg event with the “Twelfth Night” to celebrate William Shakespeare. The play is one of the most popular romantic comedies by Shakespeare.

Performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Robert Clay Auditorium on the high school campus.

Dotti Davis directs the production with assistance from Candace Shirley. The cast includes Zac Crew, Tiffani Miller, Andrew Miller, Garrett McKinnon, Amanda Cotto, Davis Cowart, Turner Hitt, Demi Davis, Alma Garcia, Deshod Holley, Nicolette Mantica, Hunter Fallin, Jamie Green and Tyler Calhoun.

The box office will

open one hour before

each showing. Tickets are $5. Tickets may be purchased at the high school office from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday. Information is available by calling (229) 903-2297.

“Twelfth Night” is one of Willies most enjoyable productions with multiple plots and comedy. I wish I could see it. LCHS thespians always do a good job. Break a leg!
