ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 60 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute on the 600 block of Bonnyview Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 2500 block of Dawson Road and on the 900 block of Eighth Avenue;
— Theft on the 300 block of Moultrie Road;
— Simple battery on the 800 block of Pine Avenue and on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Corn Avenue and on the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Aggravated assault (rape) on the 1100 block of South McKinley Street;
— Driving while license suspended on the 2100 block Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the first block of Wayne Way and on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— Assault on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 300 block of South Mock Road and 2300 block of 12th Avenue;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue;
— Stalking on the 500 block of Eugemar Drive;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;
— Forgery in the 1st degree on the 1200 block of Dawson Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Independence Drive and on the 1000 block of 1oth Avenue;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 2600 block of Habersham Road and on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 2600 block of South Washington Street and on the 2700 block of Phillips Drive;
— Kidnapping (domestic violence) on the 1200 block of Oakridge Drive;
— Open container on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Injured person on the 800 block of Cotton Avenue;
— Battery on the 600 block of 10th Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 600 block of Burke Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 20 incidents from Thursday through Sunday evening, available reports show. The incidents included a shorted water heater, a smoke odor, a structure fire on Station Crossing causing $32,000 in damage, auto accidents, a Dumpster fire and EMS assistance.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 55 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 45 medical calls, nine trauma calls and one assistance call for the Albany Fire Department.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, three chest pains, three diabetic issues, three seizures, three altered mental statuses, two respiratory issues, two mental health calls, two cardiac arrests and one miscellaneous pain call. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, four auto accident victims and four falls.
